Trigeminal nevrogia (Stroke)

Asked for Male, 60 Years

My father is suffering with stroke pain & shots from few days. He's not able to eat ,drink, he's on bed rest. and doctors said if no changes with given medication we'll have to go for surgery. Please suggest for this Trigeminal nevrogia Thank you

Hello, This is the right approach. Do not worry if after good trial of medications there is no response then surgery is advised. Surgery is safe and preferred by many people over medication. Have regular follow up with your neurologist.

Hi Sir Thanks for seeking help here. I feel you are trying to mention, trigeminal neuralgia. Yah it's a very severe lancing pain... Bec of trigeminal nerve involved . It usually Occurs in half of the face ...if carbazepine or Gabapentine or Pregabaline are not helping in reducing this pain.. Then usually people go for laser surgery. Regards Practo
