I have done a general body checkup in a local lab and the wrote Trichomonas Vagalis present in my urine sample. I doubted and gave sample again in standard lad for urine complete analysis and got trichomonas negative. I don't have any itching or pain.
Consulted an Urologist and he said if no itching then no need to worry and there will be severe itching if trich is present. Even if trich present with no symptoms need to worry. If needed take Ciprofloxacin 500 twice a day for 5 days.
Was the first test contaminated? (Even the name was wrong in report, Vagalis instead of vaginalis).
Only difference was I gave morning first urine in local lab and urine sample after breakfast in standard lab. Can this made undetectable in second test?
Should I still take Ciprofloxacin?
Earlier I had severe side effects when I took levoflaoxacin for an UTI.
How to make sure if I have this infection or not?
Please answer in detail, as I'm confused about this.
