It is better to have scaling in every 6 months. Scaling removes stain and calculus. The natural colour of teeth will not be changed by scaling.

Hi Teeth whitening and teeth cleaning are two different procedures. Teeth cleaning is done to remove Tartar and Stains from the surface of teeth. After the procedure, any stains from external source and deposits on the teeth will be removed. Teeth whitening is a procedure where darker shade of teeth are made lighter using chemicals. If aesthetics is your concern and you have a darker shade teeth without deposits and stains, then teeth whitening would be the treatment of choice. If you have just stains and deposits, then teeth cleaning is the treatment of choice. However prior to teeth whitening procedure, you would need to get a round of teeth cleaning done!!!

Teeth cleaning means clearance of food lodgement over teeth....teeth whitening is to whiten the teeth via bleaching ...both are better but it confirma after checking the status of your mouth what is needed
