I've been having sensitivity in the last two teeth since a couple of days. Doctor say they need to remove my wisdom tooth and keep the tooth near it that is the one posing issues. I dont understand this. If removed, I'd only be left with one molar on my left side. Here is xray

Wisdom teeth are the third molars , so you should have two left, unless you have already extracted( removed) one.
The important thing is to find out why the doctor is advising to remove the wisdom teeth. Most likely they have no space to erupt or come out into, in which case they may be in the wrong angulation applying pressure to the front teeth, which harms those teeth. Sometimes the tooth appears straight but still has no place to erupt so it remains half covered, it will get infected and cause problems , and will have to be removed too.
Ask your doctor to explain the exact reason .

Don't delay, the other molar may also break down to an extent that is not restorable.
