Tooth cavity
The gum line of some of my teeth is becoming black and it seems like a cavity. I have been brushing my teeth twice a day since forever so not sure why it happened. Are there any reasons for cavity other than dental hygiene?  Any advise on how can I prevent any further damage till the time I can visit a dentist?

Hello madam,          Hope you are doing good. They may be stains in your teeth. They may occur due to various reasons. It may also happen if you are in medications for prolonged time. Please visit us or nearby dentist to get it ruled out and if they are stains please get it cleaned by scaling (professional cleaning).

See if that Black colour things is just a stain then if won't go by simple brushing, you need to go for dental cleaning. If that Black colour thing is a cavity then it won't go easily with brushing twice, you need to get it restored. If you have shared photograph I would have advised you better.
Next Steps
consult me online or visit nearby dentist and get it done.
Health Tips
till then don't panic and avoid vigorous brushing bcoz it can harm your gums.
