I am having toothache went to dentist and dr said rootcannal needs to be done. Dr has prescribed Augmentin 625 for 3 days and pain killer Ketrol Dt. I wanted to within how many days infection will clear so that I can start my dental treatment.

The medicines are given so that the infection subsides a bit, but if you are having severe toothache and the medicines are not able to relieve it you can get it started on the same day itself. Once the treatment is started you will definitely have relief. You need to visit an endodontist for the same.
