Hello doctor,
Now a days kids are getting fever frequently and not getting controlled with only paracetamol so doctors are recommending antibiotics like Azithromycin, augmentin dds, policlav etc every month and whenever they get fever. Is that okay or will it effect their future health and also please suggest whether we can use probiotics like echonorm sachets in general without any prescription or in any other way we can boost their gut health

Pneumonia is still major cause of under5 mortality, so any acute respiratory infection if not improving with supportive medication, may require to treated with antibiotics. Though there is overuse of antibiotics in certain situations
If child is having healthy diet , normal activities no need of any probiotics
