Hi, I m male 30, out of city, from Friday suffering from throat pain, visited so had erythromycin n folic acid, was unable eat food but had medicines, which caused mouth ulcers, so yesterday again, I visited doctor, advised gudcef cv 200mg, folic acid n betadine gargle. I have taken 3 doses does tonsillitis take this long, I have throat pain still after taking medicines on time, although recommended for 5 days, but I am not able to eat which is causing heat in stomach and this mouth ulcers I think and pimples on face n 2 on stomach. I am having paracetamol 650 mg as well given by doctor for 5 days but fever is not going. It is severe tonsillitis , viral fever and mouth ulcers that is making me more down. How many days do you think I would take to be fine and eat well,

You seem to be suffering from viral pharyngo-tonsillitis which usury do not respond to antibiotics. Usually it is recommended to take blood tests to confirm the diagnosis and if proved better to take intravenous antibiotics and a single shot of steroid which will reduce the inflammation
Next Steps
Consult nearby ENT specialist for confirmation of diagnosis and appropriate treatment if required
