Tonsillitis surgery
Hi recently in my PET Scan some inflammation seen in my throat and my doctor suggested me the tonsillitis surgery..I just want to know what if do not get the surgery done how will it effect my body. Please advise

If u r getting 5, 6 episodes of acute tonsillitis, then only surgery is needed

Why did you go for PET scan? Tonsillitis doesn't need PET scan. Kindly provide detail history. U should consult for better understanding.
