Tonsillitis
Sir, I have a throat pain since last 7 days. Pain is increasing at night. Took Zerodal sp and amoxicillin 500. But still pain persist. Please advise.

Can't see the tonsillar area clearly in the given images. Please consult with better pictures. Meanwhile u can try Betadine gargle 2% 5ml mixed with 5ml water thrice daily.

It could be granular pharyngitis since there doesn’t seem to be apparent tonsillitis. Don’t take anymore antibiotics after the current course. Start 1. Tab Levocetirizine 10mg once at night after dinner for 5 days 2. Tab Pantoprazole 40mg twice a day once in the morning empty stomach and once in the evening 1hour before dinner. For 7 days then reduce to once a day in the morning for next 7 days 3. Dispirin gargles ( 1 tab of Dispirin dissolved in 1/2 glass warm water) for 10 days Drink frequent sips of lukewarm water and avoid spicy food and tea/coffee

Looks like pharyngitis Abit of history more would help Take higher antibiotics with gargle Avoid spicy oily cold foods

that looks like pharyngitis. u hav to use better antibiotics than augmentin. along with betakind gargling. avoid cold drinks and spicy food. better to take online ENT consulation for further evaluation
