I haven't been feeling well since Tuesday, the 24th. When I went to go get my flu shot. On Saturday, I went to the clinic & they sent me to the ER to take blood tests, they just said that I was dehydrated and I might just have a simple flu. Now, this is the 3rd, I woke up feeling like I couldn't swallow, so I went to the bathroom and checked, I found multiple sores on my tonsils. What should I do? My mom said she wouldn't help me because she thinks I'm being dramatic...

You seem to be suffering from acute pharyngo-tonsillitis which is a common type of throat infection. You may need to take symptomatic treatment like painkillers along with antiseptic mouth gargle for few days. If your symptoms persist then antibiotics are required
