Given antibiotics Friday for tonsillitis, it's Tuesday now and they haven't gone down in size, do I need a higher dosage of meds?

If your pain has come down after taking antibiotics then you need not worry. Size of the tonsil is not really a worry as they may take long time to reduce in size
