My son is having tonsils and we decided to get him surgery for him so my question is :-
1) How many types of tonsils surgeries are there ? And which type of surgery is good without pain
2) How many days it will take to recover

Coblation tonsillectomy is good .Recovery is quick and post operative pain and discomfort not much with this .

Conventional dissection and snare method is good. Recovery wont take more than a week.
