Tonsil stone
Hello I'm 23 yr old , non smoker , never drinks
Is it possible to have tonsil stone with tonsillitis or any other inflammation ?
I'm currently experiencing this out of the blew i happen to see a white hardened mass near my tonsils scrapped by myself , with a bad odour .
No tonsillitis, no difficulty in swallowing or anything .
For past 2 weeks I had ice creams and curds compulsory in my diet ...could this be a cause ?
......
1 month before I did a blood routine check ( just for RBC check ) - normal range
Exactly after 1 month I'm having this . I fear that I could have contracted any viral disease from that needle apparatus ?

You are suffering from Keratosis of tonsil.
Tonsillar keratosis is characterized by appearance of multiple white projections from cryptal orifices of the tonsil, lymph follicles, the posterior and the lateral pharyngeal walls, posterior part of the tongue and glosso-epiglottic fold.
Usually affects young adults.
Can progress over 2 to 3 years.
Viral and fungal infective aetiology have been suggested.
Nutritional deficiency.
Next Steps
If asymptomatic no treatment required.
Antiseptic gargles help empirically.
Horny masses can be removed by electrocautery. Three to four masses may be treated at each sitting at weekly intervals.
Tonsillectomy is advised for chronic cases.
