Toe injury
My second toe on right foot started hurting with and without walking on it. It is swollen and sore to the touch. It has a black or purple like spot on the bottom of the pad. When I massage it for a min it feels a little better for a bit and then starts hurting again. It is hard to walk on it and has been like this for a couple weeks. Usually doesn't bother me but has started hurting again.

Please visit your nearest doctor or hospital and get your foot examined. It looks like an infection. You might need antibiotics.
