Tiny cortical cyst
noted in left upper
Hello Doctors,
Recently I have done my USG W/A and I found that Tiny cortical cyst noted in left upper pole. And also the report mentioned that both kidney size and shape are normal. Please suggest what would be my precautions for this cyst.

Cortical cyst is not an issue
Pls take a repeat usg every year to confirm that no new cysts are forming

It is small simple cyst in one kidney.
Need not worry now.
But you need to be on follow up.
Need to know your family history of polycystic kidney disease.
