Visit an ENT specialist to get your ears checked. If the drum is intact, get a PTA with Impedance done. If you had a cold prior to developing tinnitus, it can be because of the Eustachian tube block( which is a tube connecting your ear to nose). In such a case use of nasal decongestants with steam would help you out. If your tinnitus is synchronous with your chewing movements and you have jaw pain, it could be because of tmj arthralgia. In case if it's synchronous with your pulse, further detailed examination would be required
