I have platelets count: 94000, RBC: 4.49, MCV: 96.4 fl on fasting blood test, ESR: 33, Fasting BS: 97.8 mg/dl
On Jan 24th I saw tinge of blood in my sputum. Went to general physician, she told me you've got bronchitis and hence the blood in Sputum, it's because of construction work near your area and other pollutants. I have a history of persistent allergic cough that come and go away when I take Levocet - M or Cetsafe-M.
The cough is normal but I still see tinge of blood in Sputum on a gap of 3 to 4 days.
What test do I need to take? Is this a sign of worry?
Got my chest X-Ray PA View and it's normal. I also have low platelets count since last 2 years i.e., post I recovered from COVID.
Do I need to see Haematologist? Or Pulmonologist?
