First I was a heel striker while running , then i tried to change my running style and started running on toes. I ran around 2 miles on toes and after that my calves get tight. It's been two days, my calves are still tight. I just wanted to know what can be done to release the tight calves and is it safe to run with tight calves.

Your change in running style is causing more fatigue to calf muscles, I suggest you take couple of days off, take adequate fluids, then go back to your routine running style.
