Thyroxine dosage
After taking thyroxine 25mg for 3 months, TSH is reduced from 11 to 5.87, if thyroxine dose is increased to 37.5 from existing 25, would it be controlled better??? and thyroxine medicaticon is for lifetime or can be stopped once TSH level comes to normal. kindly suggest

For better control u can increase it . U will mostly probably need to continue the medication for life with regular monitoring of your TSH values under expert guidance . Rarely in few patients medication can be stopped,  but they are uncommon.

TSH of 5.8 is fine for if there are no symptoms No need to increase the dose
