This all is under trial and not very promising now. So please take your tablets regularly on empty stomach in morning. Check TSH levels to ensure right dose.

What you have heard about seems like the less common form of hyperthyroidism. Even in that, there is no guarantee that the tablets will stop permanently. You are having the commoner form of hypothyroidism which requires lifelong oral medicines.
