Thyroid medication advice
One of my lady relative 31 yrs is 34 weeks pregnant with twins. At 30th week, she had TSH at 5.72 and was prescribed eltroxin 12.5 mg on empty stomach daily morning. Now the dose is being told  to use as 50 .Is it correct as eltroxin is generally supposed for hypothyroidism? In advanced pregnancy with TSH more than 5.0, can eltroxin be taken ?
