Thyroid elevation
I am a patient of bipolar disorder and going through medication like lithium, quitipine sr and folic acid, i checked with thyroid serum test which resulted in 6.8mg and recently went through checkup which showed 8.1 my age is 22years married I want to know abt my thyroid condition whether I must take any medication to control it to normal level Thank you

Certain medications like lithium cause changes in Thyroid function. Since you have underlying bipolar illness, keeping your Thyroid in normal levels is essential. Consult  Endocrinologist
