I have got my medical check up done recently and it shows 13.08 TSH and very low iron (22.2). Can u pls let me know the treatment. Should I take iron supplements? Will it help to reduce TSH?

Hello, you have high level of TSH suggestive of Hypothyroidism, it could also be autoimmune thyroiditis. Iron supplements will not cure thyroid problem . iron deficiency causes anemia. Iodine deficiency causes thyroid problem seen in Himalayan belt. You need to take levothyroxin. Medicine which act like thyroid harmone. Consult general physician and discuss on dosage of drug.
