Thumb sucking
Baby girl is 5 month old.exclusively breast feeding. 6.7 kg weight Birth weight 3.3 kg She is always sucking er thumbs,fingers ...everytime when she s awake... 24/7 when she is awake her hands are in mouth...now she rolled over and trying to crawl...so she touches floor here n there and putting same hands to mouth Pls help

Hi,bringing hand or foot to mouth and sucking is a normal part of development and way to self soothe At 5months it’s difficult to communicate to ur child make sure to keep ur surroundings clean put her on a mat Clean her toys frequent Avoid toys prone for choking

Ideally u can try to teach ur child from 1-2years of age by positive reinforcement
