I have pain at base of right thumb for last 2 weeks.
There is no swelling.
Most probably I developed this pain during cleaning utensils.
Pain has reduced but it appears during certain actions like combing hair.
Any exercise or physiotherapy which can relieve this

It can be due to over use of thumb while doing work or even using mobile for texting. Can cause Inflammation
Other possibilities is de quervaine tenosynovitis ( tendons of your thumb get inflamed )
This above causes lead to pain .
Best treatment. Is ice application for 20 min thrice per day for 7 days
Avoid over using your thumb for few day give it rest.
Yes some splint or brace wil give u help to reduce movement at thumb
Physiotherpy will be good but will be helpful once Inflammation reduced
You need medication for reducing Inflammation
