For fever with Upper Respiratory Tract Infection (URTI), try home remedies like drinking plenty of fluids, taking warm liquids like tea or broth, using a humidifier, gargling with salt water, inhaling steam from a bowl of hot water, taking honey, and resting to help alleviate symptoms and reduce fever.

Your symptoms suggest a persistent upper respiratory infection, possibly viral pharyngitis or bacterial throat infection. Since your condition has worsened despite taking cetirizine, you may need further evaluation. What You Can Do Now: ✔ Gargle with warm salt water (3-4 times daily) to reduce throat inflammation. ✔ Drink warm fluids (ginger tea, honey with warm water) to soothe irritation. ✔ Use steam inhalation to relieve congestion. ✔ Avoid cold drinks, spicy foods, and irritants like smoke or dust. Medication Guidance (If No Allergies): Continue cetirizine at night for allergy relief. Consider paracetamol (if fever or pain is present). If symptoms persist or worsen (severe throat pain, fever, difficulty swallowing), you may need antibiotics (if bacterial infection is suspected). For a detailed consultation, please contact me on WhatsApp at eight zero zero nine eight two one three three two.
