Throat issue
Since few day my brother is unable to eat and cannot swallow anything, ent dr did this test, after looking at this usg, doctor suggest cect of neck, please i need a help is the report anything serious, at present dr gave tab signoflam, tab pyregsic, and lidocam chewable and told him to stop smoking immediately to get cure. And told to do cect after this report proper medication will be given. Kindly check the report sir and say the condition of it

Dear Madam, Based on your report, there is no problem with the thyroid gland and the submandibular gland. But in lymph nodes, the larger one had loss of echogenicity, so it is better to do CECT to rule out any problematic cause.

As per history provided, if pain while swallowing is from just few days, then might be a sore throat, but need detailed history.
