Throat issue
Having cough and cold but got a red swollen skin behind my right tonsil its giving a pinching pain sometimes. This has never happened so please put some light on the topic i had asked this question earlier too but got no response. I have also undergone a vocal chord surgery in feb so do i need to worry about it.

during attacks of cough and cold its normal to have some granular red swellings over posterior pharyx. its usually harmless and resolves with treatment. take antibiotics, analgesic with anti cold medicines for few days. also do salt water gargling. if symptoms persist then you need to get your throat examined by specialist near you
