Hi, looking at your symptoms such as throat irritation and discomfort that too for 3 months its unlikely that you are having any infection of your throat such type of throat discomfort which is aggregated by your empty stomach is likely caused by condition known as reflux laryngopharyngitis in this condition acid content of your stomach is spilled into your throat especially during empty stomach and causes inflammation and thus the symptoms causes may be irregular eating habits, excessive hot beverage consumption, smoking, alcohol, pain killer medicines, stress and many other things you need to avoid tea and coffee for few weeks, avoid spicy food, and take regular small feeds like biscuits whenever your stomach is empty along with that you need to take anti reflux medicines for few weeks it may take sometime for complete cure and chances of recurrence are high if you don't follow instructions I hope this information helps you
