Throat infection on continuos occasions
Sir, I am a banker I had a smoking history from 2008 to 2012 I left from then, recently I'm promoted and transferred to Eluru from Hyderabad. Since I joined there I am continuously getting throat infections. Last year too I had throat infection but when used monticope a and cepodem az that got cured. But a two months back I was at Hyd and when I returned back to Eluru there was drain block at my apartment, to clean that I used Bleaching powder, which had lot of effect since then I am facing throat infection and and sometimes chest pain. I went to an ENT doctor at Eluru he said there is no effect of smoking for sure it's due to water effect and your sensitivity towards refrigerated items. I am feeling ok but my question is , Will there be any effect of smoking even after I left it 5 years back and dat I was not a chain smoker???

It is unlikely that your symptoms have anything to do with your history of smoking. You might be suffering from recurrent viral upper respiratory tract infection which is a common type of throat infection in this season. Along with that you might have developed reflux laryngopharyngitis which is type of acidity related disorder which can cause throat pain and chest pain.
