Thoughts of gender changing
Hello sir/ma'am,                               My name is smit , I'm 24 years old, so I just wanna talk about my identity, in the process of connecting my soul with my gender becomes so hard for me nowadays, actually this things started back at 2017 when I had some thoughts of having female body , at that time I know that I'm not female but my mind continuously tells me that I'm a female , then I started to practice some excercise, started yoga to relax my mind and doing works related to my study and I have diverted my mind from that thoughts , so once at a moment it stopped, myself stopped asking that what am I ?? But for sometime, after that  the thoughts began to start again and again and I have diverted them again and again but I can't stop myself to see as a women , so at one point i had concluded to change my gender , kindly help

Hi.. if you strongly believe that you are a woman and don't have any distress about it,  then you can go for a change of gender. Gender transition can involve social, legal, and medical steps. Socially, it may involve changes in name, pronouns, appearance, and lifestyle to align with one’s gender identity. From a medical perspective, hormone therapy and sex reassignment surgery can be done.

Sexual identity a person can choose as they wish. But they are ego syntonic and not dystonic. Since the thoughts in you are against your wish consult a psychiatrist for further evaluation if it is due to an underlying disorderm. Good luck.
