Thickening of bladder,UTI after sex
My girlfriend was diagnosed with UTI,thickening of bladder after she had pain during urination,itching and frequent urge for urination.She took medication considering she doesn't intake enough fluid.But this is happening after our intercourse.I get no such problem after sex but she gets the infection after 2 days of intercourse.It never happened while 4 years when we had sex but suddenly started happening to her.Which medicine can she take that is absolutely safe for her.The gets well with the medicines she had first but again catch infection after intercourse.Please help with appropriate medication advise.

Tell her to get a urine culture done twice with a gap of one day Also tell her that after every act of intercourse she has to wash herself and pass urine She might require a long course of antibiotics depending upon her culture reports
