Anti-cardiolipin antibodies are by definition a major criterion for a diagnosis of APS. APS positive results correlate with a predisposition for arterial or venous thrombosis, foetal loss, or thrombocytopoenia Mostly that is the reason for the repeated abortions. If you don't have a history of blood clots, low-dose aspirin tablets are usually recommended for thinning of blood.
