Hello doctors,
I have non-allergic asthma, and my biggest triggers are cold air and cold water. Whenever I'm exposed to them, I experience breathlessness, which can be quite disruptive. Even when I drink normal room-temperature water, I feel breathless—I have to drink warm or slightly hot water to avoid symptoms.
I try to avoid these triggers, but that’s not always possible. Are there any medical treatments, therapies, or preventive strategies that can help reduce my sensitivity to these triggers instead of inhalers?
