Theeth whitening
I have developed a slight yellow tinge of the enamel over the years. Want to explore options of whitening the the teeth without causing sensitivity issues. Have undergone braces treatment before if it makes any difference.

Whitening effects last for up to 6 months to a year depending on Patient’s oral hygiene , intake of coloured foods , frequency of drinking tea/coffee/smoking etc. If maintained well , whitening can help you with a brighter smile for a year or so. You might have slight sensitivity post whitening which will go away in about 2 weeks after whitening.

You can go get scaling done every year but that won't change the natural color of your teeth but maintain the overall health of your teeth. Teeth whitening is an option if you need whiter teeth but that isn't a permanent solution since the effects last only for a few months.

Braces treatment in the past does not cause the symptoms that are bothering you. You can get yourself evaluated by a dentist so that the appropriate whitening options in your case can be explained to you. The latest materials are highly advanced and do not cause post operative sensitivity. Regards.
