Usually when a boy is in the pre birth life in his mother's uterus, the testes are formed in the abdomen. These slowly migrate under the influence of male hormones to lie in the scrotum at birth. During this migration from tummy to groin the testes have to travel through a "space" in the layer of muscles in the tummy wall. There is a distinct band which brings this testes to the scrotum. This canal which is formed mostly closes at birth or in some years. If this canal is open, it may occasionally enable the testes to come into it. You are 25 and if you have this problem where the testes disappears from the scrotum at masturbation, or at sex, you must meet a surgeon IMMEDIATELY. If the canal is open there is a chance that the testes may get trapped in it and get damaged. Nature has kept the testes outside the body as it needs cooler temperature than what is present in the tummy. Also if the canal is open it is called a Hernia and the intestines may sometimes come to it if you exert force while at urination, laughing or at exercise. So get examined.
Next Steps
If the surgeon feels that your inguinal canal is open, it may warrant a surgery to prevent damage to testes and prevent formation of hernia.
Health Tips
Menawhile while masturbating, please do not do it in a sleeping position, as it makes it easy for the testes to enter the canal.
