Tested covid positive after 14-18 days
My father had covid pneumonia 3 weeks back and now he has recovered his oxygen level is more than 96 and he isn't coughing and there is no ever. We did the rtcpr test after 18 days and still the result is positive. He doesn't have any symptoms not even weakness. What could be the reason?

If he doesnt have any symptoms nothing to worry rtpcr can come postive for few weeks
