Hello I'm Dr mayank Chaudhary here,
Symptoms you described, including a popping sensation inside your nose followed by a headache, could potentially be related to sinus issues. Sinus headaches are typically associated with inflammation or congestion in the sinuses, which are air-filled cavities located in the skull.
Here are a few possible explanations for your symptoms:
Sinusitis: Sinusitis is an inflammation of the sinuses, usually caused by infection or allergies. It can lead to nasal congestion, pressure, pain, and headaches. The popping sensation you experience may be related to the movement of mucus or air in the sinuses.
Eustachian tube dysfunction: The Eustachian tubes connect the middle ear to the back of the nose and throat. Dysfunction in these tubes can cause pressure changes in the ears, leading to a popping sensation. The resulting changes in pressure may trigger a headache.
Migraine: Migraines can cause various symptoms, including headaches, nasal congestion, and sensations like popping or pressure in the head or sinuses. Migraines are often accompanied by additional symptoms such as sensitivity to light or sound.
Most likely possibility that you have sinusitis...
