Tell me about black fungus
Where did black fungus was start? May be from mouth, actually I have pain left eye from 15 days , little bit water in a eye. I am ex covid patient .I was consultant eye doctor he was said just viral infection .he was given medicines .

Black fungus that is mucormycosis is more prevalent in post covid diabetics
As u have already consulted a specialist follow up with him
For prevention maintaining personal hygiene is of utmost importance
1. Wear gloves, mask
2. Monitor blood glucose
3. Use scrub bath

Generally diabetic patients who have uncontrolled diabetes and immunosuppressed patients who took steroids for long time during covid treatment, supplemental oxygen therapy was given they are more prone for mucormycosis
Blackish nasal discharge, nasal blockage, anesthesia over face, dental pain, black spots around eyes, black spots over palate, pain in eyes, swelling around eyes, decrease in vision, decrease in movements in eyes

Mucormycosis can start from oral cavity, paranasal sinus, lungs etc
You are having pain and watery discharge in eyes. As rightly told by opthal doctor it can be viral infection
As you are young and do not have any comorbidity chances of mucormycosi is very rare.
