Don't use any medication. You can just use a napkin soaked with warm water, cover around the tip of your finger, and do a gentle massage of the gums. Still if the child is fussy, or irritable due to pain, give ibugesic

Teething at this age is a normal process. Some babies have much pain due to the teething and swelling of the gums. There are simple measures advocated to relieve the pain - teething toys ( there should not be any loose parts or fluid inside) which can also be chilled ( not frozen), soft massage of the gums with a clean finger or a soft cloth
