Teeth sharp pain

I have sharp pain in my one of my teeth also have sensitivity..X-ray Opg done but not any problem showing only enamel wear off.my dr.give hypersensitive tooth paste cause of dentin expose.pain comes and go. Is hypersensitive cause sharp pain??? I m really worried

Hello Pls close ur mouth n check ....both sides,Tht means rt n left lower molars are touching simultaneously ? If yes thn fine If not...thn which side is touching first? If its effected side thn ....u need bite correction...tht means reduction of high points causing pressure on ur tooth n bone Wearing of enamel ....do indicates thr r high points....n yes it may cause acute pain due to hypersensitivity..... but what is causing wearing of enamel Any habits? Acidity? Bruxism? Or high pressure points? Rule out the cause first
