TB latent treatment
My son 39 yrs was disgionised for latent TB in March 17 for lympnodes in instentines and prescribed Rcinex Combutol PZide and Benadon. The period of six months will be over on 15 sept 17. How can we know that TB has been fully cured and no further medicines are required?

Sir for the disease to be fully cured he needs to take the medicines for at least 9 months to 1year. The exact duration your doctor will be able to let you know. Earlier than this if the medicines are stopped it will lead to resistance of the micro organisms to the antibiotics.
