Tapering plan
Good.evening.i have been on clonezepam 0.5 mg for about 6-7 months but I have started facing lot of side effects like neck pain and over brightness to lights .i would like to taper it according to a plan and see if it eases out.kondlt suggest a tapering plan and let me know how long would it take to ensure the drug is no longer in my system .I know the hard effects of withdrawal but I would like to manage my anxiety without meds after having tried it for quite sometime .

After going through the details, it seems like the symptoms you are having are not due to clonazeapm (especially in such small dose of 0.5mg). It can be due to anxiety per se. But if you still wish to stop, it should be after evaluation from the psychiatrist about the current mental condition and status. Stopping should be gradual over 2 to 3 week
