Don’t know what to call this, maybe some sort of defensive mechanism. I am a very quiet person, to the point you would think I’m mute. as a kid, when people talk to me, I have this natural response as to talk to people a lot, Because they don’t like people as quiet as me, and it ends with people thinking I’m really talkative . even my family doesn’t realise im like this And it’s like I’m stuck and no one really knows the real me,and I constantly cry over it, like I’m stuck in some sort of shell

I think u are suffering from some obsessive behaviour or obsessive thoughts.
It may be due to stress, worse memory or experience, long lasting mental grief, physical harassment, sexual assault etc.
To avoid this u have to consult psychologist immediately and both of u then find the actual cause of the problems and then it properly cured.
