Taking Tab Pan 20 for more than 5 years

Asked for Male, 24 Years

5 yrs ago I was diagnosed with gastritis and esophagitis. Treatment was done in Kolkata and in the last few years I underwent ugi endoscopy 3 times. The Gastritis improved but whenever I stop the medication I feel gastric pain and acid reflux. I am taking Pantoprazole 20 for more than 5 years. Can it cause some serious side effect? How can I cure my acid reflux? It's really problematic and I went to a lot to doctors and they prescribe the same medicine....... someone please help

You should stop taking pan20 now, as its not safe to consume it for so long and however it will stop acting. Kindly do dietary and lifestyle changes instead
