Syphilis results and doctor
I had done syphilis testing as part of regular STD panel.
TPHA and VDRL has come positive in Nov 2019, as well as Mar 2020.
I had take antibiotics in Dec as I was having painful sore throat which was likely because of oral syphilis.
As result is positive again, and I don't have any symptoms, I am more worried.
Does the result mean infection is present or it is based on anti bodied ?
Which doctor should I go to for this health problem ? Dermatologists ? General physician ? ENT ? Or any else ?

VDRL takes some months to years to become positive.
TPHA usually remains positive for life
