Swollen tonsils without infection
I am having swollen tonsils since two and half months and also feeling of something stuck in throat! I went to best ENT of my city he checked me ,did swab test ... Negative and said no infection! Then done UGIE everything normal ! But no relief till now in swelling on tonsils and difficulty swallowing!! He said it is due to GERD ,gave medicines! When will these symptoms subside?

This is a case of chronic tonsillitis . You won’t get relief from medical management . It’s an indication for surgical management ( Tonsillectomy under GA) should be done . Otherwise , you would have repeated infections and discomfort every time have respiratory infection . Yes you have to control gastritis by medicines and lifestyle modification also.
