Swollen right thumb
From 10days, I am having a boil on my right thumb. The thumb is swollen, red, painful and full of pus. The pain is excruciating when the thumb hits any surface. I have been taking antibiotics from last 5days but there has been no improvement. The antibiotics I am taking is linezolid.

Paronychia is your problem. The swelling must be cut open and the pus inside must be drained. Without doing this any amount of medicines are not going to help.
