Swollen legs and fluid discharge
The query is on my father's behalf who is 70years old. He is having legs swollen with watery fluid discharge. Requesting for advice and diagnosis.

Hello, as per your clinical history is concerned you can take (ALCEF-TZ)1000 mg inj once a day for 7 days and add oral medication (AB-FAX-AZ TAB) twice a day for 14 days.
Next Steps
Investigations you need- fasting blood sugar,TSH,CBC with differential,ECG , creatinine and uria.

Do follow few preventive steps like this- 1) Wash your wound daily with soap and water. Do this gently as part of your normal bathing. 2)Apply a protective cream or ointment (Neosporin) 3)Cover your wound with a bandage.Change bandages at least daily.Watch for signs of infection.
